And so is, the other crab mentality that is as dangerous to the crap mentality.
The crab (bowl) mentality (id.wikipedia.org) has always been associated with this phrase:
I’m having such challenges and difficulties, so should others!
But, there’s another mindset that is just as dangerous to the infamous crap crab mentality. And here, we called it the pre-crab mentality:
I want others to grow and benefit, but I should be their solution!
This mentality explains just everything you need to know about
- seniority,
- a yandere,
- why boomer mentality just thinks like that,
- a mental consequence of publish or perish,
- super-apps, startup culture, and their obsession to be the solution,
- literally how the Indonesian government do their apps,
- and all the sweet campaigns by politicians and wannabes.
We call this as “pre-crab” as if they fail, they will resort to the OG “crab mentality”:
- Because I’ve failed to be elected as a mayor of a city council, my city and council shall not be free from problems.
- Because I’ve failed to become the leader of a country, my country shall not move forward.
- Because I’ve failed in my interview to be a manager of a student club, that student club shall not adopt my proposed/campaigned innovations.
- Because I’ve failed to get the one‘s love, I shall kill their partner so I could step in as the real partner.
- Yes. That’s a real yandere mindset.
- Because my company failed to win the tender for a government app, despite us having experience to build for them, we shall make artificial and arbitrary errors to existing government apps, so we can bill them for more money to fix these fake errors.
